• Hotel BH Bicentenario (La Candelaria - where we stayed $$): central location in La Candelaria, but be cautious at night. Hotel is mid-range with great bed and shower as well as nice breakfast included

• Corazon del Molino Corferias (Teusaquillo): Nice hotel in a more safe, residential area with clean and comfy rooms! Still pretty close to La Candelaria and tourist attractions

• Masaya Bogotá (La Candelaria): popular place to stay among backpackers with great facilities and rooms

• Selina Parque 93 (Chapinero): Located in a more upscale and safe neighborhood, away from La Candelaria. Good traveler choice!

• Casa Vieja: traditional restaurant with local dishes, like ajiaco

• De Una Travel: cozy restaurant with great food

• Diosa Cervecería: nice brewpub with good beers and ambiance

• La Bruja: fine dining restaurant

• La Puerta Falsa: known as the oldest restaurant in Colombia, nice tamales

• MAMBE GASTROBAR: great food with lots of meat options

• Maria Candela Vegan: great vegan restaurant (with vegan versions of the traditional dishes)

• Mesa Franca: amazing high-quality food in Chapinero district

• Mini Mal: good Colombian food in northern Bogotá area

• Origen Bistro: nice patio inside with cozy atmosphere and great food

• Restaurante Banquete tradicional Colombiano: great local food! Try the patacones con camarones as a starter here!
